SANEI Virtual Orbit

By using Virtual Orbit (a virtual trajectory based on mathematical formulas: 3D maps) downloaded to the vehicle via network distribution, drivers can see beyond their line of sight, which can be utilized for safety driving assistance in ITS and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and for controlling CO2 emissions reduction. Additionally, it can be used for virtual test courses for vehicle development and experimentation in a short period, as well as for digitalizing the unevenness of real roads in the market into bench test data.

We propose a 3D road map for in-vehicle ECU development and bench testing using a vibration machine. This utilizes VirtualOrbit (virtual trajectory based on mathematical formulas: 3D map) and makes an innovative contribution to shortening development time and reducing costs.
